The inevitable trip to the ER

At 11 am I noticed some tenderness in my right forearm. I didn't pay
much attention to it. By 9 pm or so it was red, hot ot the touch and
noticeably swollen. At midnight I told renee and we decided to call my
local onc's service and spoke to the on call doc. He was concerned
about infection and sent me to the ER.

Rachael, Adam and the kids are visiting from California so we left
them there and renee and I are now here waiting.

We'll see what the er doc says.
